Join us as our Talent Lead to spearhead the growth of the team at STRATOS!

You will be the architect of our talent strategy, owning the full candidate lifecycle while ensuring our operational foundations are robust and compliant. You will report to the Chief of Staff, working closely with the leadership team to attract top-tier talent, scale our headcount, and curate an onboarding experience that sets our new joiners up for success. This role is a unique opportunity for a talent professional who thrives on the duality of high-level strategy and hands-on execution.

Tasks

What You’ll Do

Recruiting

  • Own end-to-end recruitment across our Client Management and Commercial functions: briefing, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offers
  • Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, networks, and direct outreach — not just waiting for inbound
  • Build and maintain pipelines for roles we hire regularly
  • Manage agency relationship for Eng/Product recruiting and hold them accountable
  • Deliver a candidate experience that reflects well on STRATOS

Compliance & Right to Work

  • Conduct Right to Work verification for all new starters
  • Manage background screening from initiation to completion
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready records

Visa & Immigration

  • Support candidates and employees requiring work authorisation or visa sponsorship
  • Coordinate with immigration legal counsel on documentation and timelines
  • Track visa expiry dates and flag renewals proactively

HR & Systems Administration

  • Manage day-to-day administration in Rippling for new starters, any data updates etc
  • Maintain employee records and contracts
  • Support the Chief of Staff on ad hoc people projects as needed

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Must-have

  • 5 years of experience in a recruiting or talent acquisition role, some agency as well as in-house background would be helpful
  • Proven ability to source candidates proactively — LinkedIn Recruiter, boolean search, direct outreach
  • Knows how to scale headcount and work with a results-oriented exec team
  • Solid understanding of Right to Work and background check requirements
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and discreet
  • Great attitude - a culture carrier!

Good to have

  • Experience with HRIS platforms (Rippling a bonus, but any modern system is fine)
  • Familiarity with visa and work authorisation processes
  • Prior experience in a high-growth scale-up type environment
  • Familiarity with ATS tools
