Location: Swindon/Hybrid
Salary/package: £28,500 + Uncapped commission
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week

Connect2Swindon is part of Commercial Services Group (CSG), providing recruitment and workforce solutions to Swindon Borough Council. As part of CSG, we deliver high-quality, flexible recruitment services that support public sector organisations with their workforce needs, ensuring efficiency, compliance and exceptional service delivery.

Why this role matters

This role is central to ensuring Swindon Borough Council has access to the right talent at the right time. You will act as a trusted partner to hiring managers, delivering a seamless recruitment service while maintaining compliance, managing candidate pipelines, and supporting workforce planning across a range of roles.

What you'll be doing

  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers, understanding their workforce needs and recruitment challenges
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates
  • Advertise roles and utilise search techniques to attract high-quality candidates
  • Review CVs and submit suitable candidates through internal systems and client portals
  • Coordinate interviews, gather feedback and manage offer and placement processes
  • Ensure all compliance and legal requirements are met before candidates start assignments
  • Maintain regular contact with candidates and agency workers, ensuring strong engagement and retention
  • Manage vacancies through CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy and reporting
  • Collaborate with external agency supply chain partners where required
  • Provide ongoing support and aftercare to both clients and candidates to ensure successful placements

What we’re looking for

  • Experience working within a recruitment agency or managed service environment
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and candidate sourcing methods
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Good knowledge of compliance and legislation within recruitment (e.g. AWR, IR35, H&S)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and manage expectations
  • Experience using recruitment CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail

What you’ll get in return

  • Salary of £28,500 + Commission
  • 25 days annual leave, rising to 27 after 4 years.
