Talent Partner (GTM)
Location: London (Hybrid)
Compensation: £60,000 – £75,000 + Bonus + Equity
Hawkwood are delighted to be partnering with a mission-driven, VC-backed technology business to hire a GTM Talent Partner following impressive growth and product adoption.
Having successfully built a new platform that is being used by government services globally, they are entering the next phase of growth and making significant investment in the team that will build the commercial organisation behind that expansion.
This is an opportunity to join a genuinely mission-led business where talent is viewed as a strategic advantage. Partnering closely with founders and commercial leaders, you'll own hiring across the company's go-to-market organisation, helping attract the people who will shape its next chapter.
The environment is ambitious, fast-moving, and highly collaborative. You'll have significant autonomy, direct exposure to senior leadership, and the opportunity to influence not just hiring outcomes, but how the Talent function evolves as the business continues to grow across international markets.
What you'll do:
- Take end-to-end ownership of hiring across Sales, Commercial and Marketing, delivering exceptional talent into business-critical roles.
- Partner with founders and hiring managers to shape hiring strategy, build robust interview processes, and deliver high-quality hiring plans.
- Develop proactive sourcing strategies to identify and engage outstanding GTM talent, building pipelines for both immediate and future hiring needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to commercial stakeholders, providing market insight and data-driven recommendations throughout the hiring process.
- Champion an outstanding candidate experience, ensuring every interaction reflects the organisation's high standards and values.
- Strengthen the employer brand by developing creative initiatives that attract exceptional commercial talent.
- Use Ashby and recruitment analytics to monitor hiring performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and continuously optimise recruitment processes.
- Play a key role in developing the Talent function, helping build scalable hiring frameworks that support continued growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
