Talent Partner – Recruitment (Swindon / Hybrid)
Location: Swindon / Hybrid Salary/package: £28,500 + Uncapped Commission Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Why This Role Matters
You will play a critical role in ensuring Swindon Borough Council accesses the right talent at the right time. As a Talent Partner, you will:
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers
- Deliver end-to-end recruitment processes
- Ensure compliance, candidate engagement, and workforce planning
- Support client needs across multiple roles
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and nurture relationships with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and challenges
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, including:
- Sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates
- Advertising roles & attracting top talent through effective search techniques
- Reviewing CVs and submitting suitable candidates via internal systems and client portals
- Coordinating interviews, gathering feedback, and managing offers & placements
- Ensuring compliance and legal adherence (e.g., AWR, IR35, Health & Safety) before candidates start
- Maintain strong candidate engagement to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Manage vacancies via CRM systems while ensuring data accuracy and reporting
- Collaborate with external agency partners when required
- Provide post-placement support (aftercare) for both clients and candidates

What We’re Looking For
✅ Essential:
- Experience in recruitment agencies or managed services environments
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and candidate sourcing
- Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of an organisation
- Knowledge of international legislation & compliance (e.g., AWR, IR35, Health & Safety)
- Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Confident communication skills (written & verbal) to influence and manage expectations
- Proficiency in recruitment CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach with meticulous attention to detail
