Job Opportunity: Freelance Talent Sourcer
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Talent Sourcer (Freelance) based in United Kingdom.
This freelance opportunity is ideal for talent professionals who excel at finding and engaging exceptional candidates through innovative sourcing strategies.
You will play a key role in building strong talent pipelines and connecting companies with highly qualified professionals. The position offers the flexibility to work remotely while collaborating on diverse hiring needs across different industries. You will use advanced research techniques, sourcing platforms, and professional networks to identify top talent. The role requires a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to assess candidate fit effectively.

Accountabilities
As a Freelance Talent Sourcer, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and presenting qualified candidates while maintaining high standards throughout the sourcing process. You will support hiring efforts by creating reliable talent pipelines and ensuring candidates are aligned with role requirements.
- Source active and passive candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn X-Ray Search, job boards, GitHub, Stack Overflow, social media, and professional communities.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future recruitment needs.
- Conduct market mapping and talent research to identify relevant profiles and hiring trends.
- Evaluate candidate availability, motivation, and interest before submission.
- Obtain valid Right to Represent (RTR) authorization before submitting candidates.
- Maintain accurate sourcing records and ensure candidate information is properly documented.
- Submit qualified candidates through the designated partner portal.
- Screen candidates for technical fit, availability, and alignment with job requirements.
- Coordinate communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process and support interview scheduling when needed.

Requirements
You are a proactive recruitment professional with strong sourcing abilities and a passion for identifying outstanding talent. You are comfortable working independently, managing multiple searches, and using creative approaches to find the right candidates.
- Experience sourcing candidates across one or more industries.
- Strong Boolean search skills and experience with advanced sourcing techniques.
- Hands-on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or similar talent sourcing platforms.
- Ability to quickly identify high-quality candidates and assess their suitability for open roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience as a Talent Sourcer, Recruitment Researcher, Internet Research Specialist, Recruitment Consultant, or Technical Sourcer is highly valued.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate candidate records.
- Ability to work independently in a remote freelance environment.
- Strong understanding of candidate engagement and recruitment best practices.
