Talent Specialist

Talent Specialist – European Talent Team

Location: Hybrid (Bristol office), UK

At YETI, we believe that time spent outdoors matters more than ever. Our gear helps customers make every adventure extraordinary—while you shape a world-class workplace that supports team success and growth.

About the Role

The Talent Specialist plays a vital role within YETI’s European Talent team, serving as the frontline partner for managers and employees in the UK while embedding best practices across EMEA. This role blends employee advocacy, manager coaching, recruitment support, and operational execution, acting as a strategic compliance, engagement, and experience resource.

You’ll combine analytical judgment with hands-on support, ensuring risks are identified early, processes run smoothly, and both employees and candidates receive a consistent, outstanding experience.

What You’ll Do

Manager & Employee Advisory

  • Deliver daily Talent support to managers across levels (e.g., executive, team lead, individual contributor) including guidance on:
    • Performance feedback conversations
    • Employee engagement and challenge escalation
  • Serve as the primary Talent contact for employees, resolving common concerns independently with clarity and empathy
  • Build confidence through trust-based relationships, fostering a consistent Talent culture in assigned teams

Employee Relations Support

  • Handle and escalate employee relations matters with sound policy interpretation, including:
    • Discreet issue intake
    • Clear documentation of investigations
    • Structured escalation to Talent Business Partners (TBPs)/senior leadership
  • Spot trends that may impact retention or morale, projecting them to senior Talent [teams](#other support here) to help with proactive interventions
  • Ensure all actions align with UK employment law, GDPR standards, and YETI policies

Recruitment & Hiring Partnership

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition (TA) to support recruitment for UK and broader EMEA roles
  • Coordinate logistics seamlessly on behalf of hiring managers:
    • Candidate communication timelines
    • Interview scheduling/tech prep
    • Best-practice candidate engagement
  • Develop talent pipelines through prepared research, alternative sourcing, and role-specific insights
  • Deploy recruiting process frameworks in peak hiring periods

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
