Tanker Driver – Permanent/Full-Time

Location: Taunton Salary: Competitive + Enhanced Overtime & Company Benefits

About the Role

Join a hardworking, high-performing team at Oneline as a Tanker Driver, playing a critical role in supporting customer disposal needs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving and operating tankers and HGVs to manage customer waste disposal.
  • Supporting cleaning and maintenance tasks as part of a team on major projects.
  • Manual handling, including carrying suction hoses and removing debris using tools like brushes and shovels.
  • Working with large equipment like tanks, wet wells, siphons, and wastewater assets.
  • Operating vacuum trucks (vactors), booms, and specialist equipment.
  • Conducting tasks in confined spaces and varied environments.
  • Completing digital site reports and vehicle check documentation.
  • Helping maintain vehicles, equipment, and tools to industry standards.
  • Occasional travel and overnight stays.
  • Being part of an on-call rota when required.

Requirements

We’re looking for applicants with:

  • A full Class C UK driving licence (minimum; full clean licence required).
  • A strong, adaptable work ethic and hands-on attitude.
  • Willingness to work away regularly and be flexible.
  • Essential: Right to work in the UK.

The role may also require training in:

  • Street Works (NRSWA)
  • High-Pressure Water Jetting (WJA)
  • Confined Space Entry
  • CSCS Card
