Tanker Driver – Burham-on-Sea

Ready to join our hardworking, high-performing team at Oneline? We’re looking for a dedicated Tanker Driver to join our team and support customer disposal needs with passion and precision.


About the Role

  • Driving/operating tankers & HGVs to assist in waste removal and disposal
  • Working as part of a team on clean-up and maintenance projects, including:
    • Manual handling
    • Carrying suction hose and brushing up spillages/debris
    • Operating in confined spaces and varied environments
  • Assisting with wet well, siphon, and tank cleanings (including large wastewater assets)
  • Operating vacuum trucks, booms, and other specialised equipment
  • Completing digital site reports and vehicle checks
  • Supporting vehicle and kit maintenance
  • Occasional overnight stays and travel required
  • Participation in on-call rota as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential:

  • Full UK Class C driving licence (minimum)
  • Strong work ethic and problem-solving mentality
  • Willingness to work away regularly
  • Right to work in the UK is essential
  • Full clean driving licence & arrest-free record

Desirable Training Opportunities:

  • Street Works (NRSWA)
  • High-Pressure Water Jetting (WJA)
  • Confined Space Entry
  • CSCS Card
