Description

As a Driver Trainer, you’ll be an essential part of coordinating and delivering training for Transportation Associate Program (TAP) and In House Shunting (IHS) drivers in the UK.
E2E Field Learning Excellence is looking for a Driver Trainer with a proven track record of delivering results and experience in learning and development to support the learning journey of our TAP/IHS drivers. In this role, you will deliver driver training to Amazon’s Shunter drivers across the TAP and IHS program including initial training, refreshers and coaching in the yard and in classroom sessions. You’ll support with a range of initiatives to maintain safety standards in our yards working with stakeholder teams including safety, operations and projects.
Key job responsibilities
Deliver Shunter Driver Training including both practical and classroom training Liaise with local site teams including learning, HR, Safety, Engineering and TOM to deliver training Communicate to internal stakeholders including Operations, Safety, HR and Learning Help to audit metrics such as safety, quality, and process across sites Train and coach associates to become ambassadors who can help deliver coaching and training to local teams Deliver yard-based training including yard access, charging of vehicles and basic vehicle maintenance Update and maintain accurate training records

A day in the life
The TAP driver trainer is a varied role providing practical training and coaching support to the drivers on the TAP programme in a regional cluster and across the UK. The role would see successful candidates delivering on site onboarding, practical driving training and over the road support. This would be based in a regional cluster but also some UK travel to support other regions.
About The Team
The TAP Learning team is a nationwide team that manages the E2E training for all drivers in the Transportation Associate Programme. Spread across the UK, we work with internal and external partners to provide 7-day-a-week coverage to accelerate drivers' training journeys and paths to proficiency.
Basic Qualifications
Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment Advanced proficiency in English in both written and verbal communication (C1 Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR) Valid C+E License and Driver Qualification Card Experience communicating and delivering presentations to customers, stakeholders, and/or teammates Experience operating as a commercial HGV driver
