TAR Operations Representative
Our client, a major north sea operator is currently recruiting for the position of TAR Operations Representative based in Aberdeen. This is a 12-month PAYE contract role to support the 2027 on one of their assets. Hybrid working is available (4 days office based and 1 day working from home).
Role overview
To act as the primary operations interface within the Turnaround (TAR) team, ensuring seamless integration of operational requirements into TAR planning and execution. The role supports safe, efficient, and timely delivery of TAR objectives while maintaining operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent offshore operations in all TAR planning and execution activities.
- Develop and coordinate shutdown, clean-up, and start-up procedures in alignment with TAR scope.
- Ensure operational readiness for TAR execution, including resource planning and procedural alignment.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and HSE teams to ensure all operational aspects are considered.
- Participate in risk assessments, SIMOPS planning, and permit-to-work reviews.
- Support the development of TAR schedules and ensure alignment with operational constraints.
- Provide input into lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives post-TAR.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Significant offshore operational experience, ideally in a Lead Operator or CRO capacity.
- Strong understanding of FPSO systems and turnaround processes.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience in shutdown/start-up planning and execution.
- Familiarity with safety management systems and TAR planning tools.
