Hampton Lumber is a thriving family-owned company aspiring to be North America's preferred source for responsibly-sourced wood solutions. Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, we operate nine sawmills in Western Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. We also manage timberland and operate a wholesale and import/export division.

Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and passionate Tasting Room Associate to join our winery team. This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests visiting our tasting room, guiding them through wine tastings, and ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience. A passion for wine, knowledge of our product offerings, and a warm, engaging personality are key to success in this role.

Responsibilities
- Perform daily operations in the tasting room, including but not limited to:
- Hosting visitors: telling the Studio and tenant winery stories, serving wine, selling wine club, and completing wine sales
- Maintaining a clean work environment, including cleaning tables & glassware after visitor departure, daily cleaning tasks and overall care for a welcoming, clean tasting room

Qualifications
- Experience: Previous customer service or hospitality experience is preferred. Experience in the wine industry is a plus.
- Knowledge: Basic knowledge of wines, wine regions, and wine-tasting techniques. Willingness to learn more about the winery’s offerings.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to engage and build relationships with guests.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and work in varying weather conditions (if applicable to outdoor tasting areas).
- Availability: Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as the tasting room may operate during peak times.
