Group Tax Accountant — Global Role
We’re partnering with a world-leading group to hire a Group Tax Accountant — a standout opportunity for a technically strong, commercially minded tax professional who wants genuine global exposure and a seat at the table on major business decisions.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Group Tax Manager, you’ll join a high-performing Global Tax team with a broad remit: group tax reporting, global corporate tax compliance, transfer pricing, and advisory support across multiple international jurisdictions.
This is a role with real influence — shaping the group’s direct tax strategy, supporting major initiatives, and driving compliance excellence worldwide.
What You’ll Own
Compliance & Reporting
- Lead UK corporate tax returns with advisors and finance teams
- Support year-end group tax reporting under IFRS
- Prepare group ETR and cash tax forecasts
- Manage UK GAAP statutory tax disclosures
- Coordinate global tax compliance with overseas teams
- Maintain the global compliance calendar
- Support TP policy development and documentation across regions

Risk & Controls
- Lead the UK SAO compliance process
- Contribute to the Group Tax risk register
- Maintain global tax process and control documentation
Business Partnering & Projects
- Advise the business on operations, transactions, and strategic decisions
- Support refinancing, M&A, and restructuring projects
- Assist with tax controversy and authority enquiries
- Identify process improvements, automation, and tech enhancements
- Evaluate tax relief opportunities and support scenario modelling
- Manage the Group Tax budget and forecasting

About You
- CTA / ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Strong understanding of IAS 12 / IFRS tax reporting
- Corporate tax experience in a multinational or top-tier firm
- Able to translate technical tax into commercial value
