Tax & Accounts Manager Opportunity

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Tax & Accounts Manager to join a successful and expanding accountancy practice, taking ownership of a varied portfolio while playing a key role in the continued growth of the firm.

Approximately 60% of your time will be spent delivering tax advisory services, 20% reviewing accounts and compliance work, and 20% managing client relationships and supporting the wider team. You'll work closely with Partners on complex advisory assignments while mentoring and developing junior staff.

This role offers genuine autonomy, exposure to high quality clients and a clear route towards Associate Director. For ambitious individuals, there is a defined long term pathway into Director or Partner level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver proactive tax planning advice to owner managed businesses and private clients.
  • Advise on corporate tax, personal tax, business restructures and succession planning.
  • Lead HMRC enquiries and technical projects.
  • Review complex tax returns and computations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
