Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time (might flex to 4 days)
Salary: £80k

About the Role

This is a fully remote advisory role where you'll provide expert tax guidance across a diverse range of technical matters to clients seeking strategic tax planning solutions. This is not a compliance role. You'll be handling complex, nuanced tax queries that require analytical thinking, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate sophisticated concepts clearly. The variety of topics you'll encounter makes this an intellectually stimulating position for someone who enjoys problem-solving and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert tax advice via reports / email on a broad spectrum of tax matters with a lean toward corporate tax, and owner-managed business scenarios.
  • Handle complex advisory queries including share schemes and gifting arrangements, inheritance tax planning strategies, group loss relief optimisation, residence and domicile issues, foreign income and capital gains treatment, and business restructuring considerations.
  • Research and analyse intricate tax legislation and case law to support advice given.
  • Deliver clear, practical recommendations that balance technical accuracy with commercial awareness.
  • Stay current with tax legislation changes and their practical implications.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on particularly complex or multi-faceted cases.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
