Purpose Of The Role

In joining Affinia, you will be part of a growing, forward-thinking and dynamic Tax department. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded tax professional who wants to take a leading role in advisory-led work.

You will work closely with Directors and Partners to deliver bespoke tax advice to a varied client base including owner-managed businesses, corporate groups, property clients, entrepreneurs, family businesses and high-net-worth individuals.

The role will include a broad range of corporate, transaction and property tax advisory work, with particular focus on restructuring, acquisitions, disposals, succession planning, share transactions and property-related tax matters. You will manage advisory projects from scoping through to delivery, prepare clear technical reports, liaise with clients and professional advisers, and identify opportunities to add value across the wider Affinia client base.

As well as delivering high-quality advice, you will support junior colleagues, contribute to business development and help promote the Tax Advisory offering across the group.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
