We are delighted to be working with an established firm of accountants, tax and business advisors based in Cheltenham. They are expanding their team and looking for a Tax Assistant or Senior, dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, including HNWI, business owners, sole traders, and partnerships.
- Preparing Self-assessment tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Assisting with HMRC enquires and liaising with clients to resolve tax related matters.
- Working on ad-hoc tax advisory queries.
- Using tax software.
- Organised, confident, and diligent with a commitment to deadlines.

What we are looking for
- Previous personal tax experience within a UK accountancy practice. (preferred but not essential)
- May be studying for ATT, but not a requirement.
- A self-starter who can plan and manage own workload, understanding the importance of managing a varied workload with strict deadlines.
