Pure Search are partnered with a multinational business looking to hire a Tax Associate to join the in-house tax team in London. This is an ideal role for someone part-qualified to move in-house.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit UK corporation tax returns (CT600) and supporting computations, ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements and statutory deadlines.
  • Prepare and review VAT returns, ensuring accurate treatment of transactions in line with UK VAT legislation.
  • Manage day-to-day tax compliance activities for a portfolio of UK entities, maintaining accurate tax records and documentation.
  • Liaise with HMRC to respond to enquiries, resolve compliance matters, and manage correspondence on behalf of the business.
  • Monitor tax filing deadlines and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely submission of all tax returns and payments.
  • Support the preparation of corporate tax provisions and reconciliations for statutory accounts.

Requirements:

  • AAT/ATT qualified or ACA/ACCA/CTA part-qualified
  • 1-3 years UK corporate tax experience
  • Ability to travel into Central London 2 days per week
