Tax Compliance and Reporting Specialist
Tax Compliance & Reporting Specialist (International Corporate Tax)
This is a broad international role offering exposure to UK and overseas tax matters across EMEA.
We are working with a leading international insurance business seeking a Tax Compliance & Reporting Specialist to join its corporate tax team. The position combines corporate tax compliance, tax accounting and reporting, and oversight of tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build wider international experience within a global organisation.
The successful candidate will take ownership of a portfolio of countries, working closely with finance teams, external advisers, and tax colleagues across different regions. The remit is expected to evolve over time, providing exposure to new jurisdictions and tax issues as the team develops.
This role would suit an experienced tax professional who enjoys working across multiple stakeholders and jurisdictions rather than focusing solely on UK compliance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
