Description

Global Tax Services are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our team. This position demands a distinctive blend of tax technical knowledge, data management expertise, and systems proficiency to navigate sophisticated data ecosystems. The Tax Manager must possess comprehensive knowledge of global tax (e.g. VAT/GST) regulations and accounting principles, demonstrate capability in analyzing and reconciling substantial datasets, and exhibit sound business acumen to drive process improvements and operational efficiency. We are a growing team looking for someone eager to learn tax technology, master ambiguity, improve existing tax processes, and contribute to shaping new ones.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Reconcile large-scale datasets across tax calculation and reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and data integrity from source systems through transformation to final outputs
  • Configure and maintain business rules for tax reporting across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring mathematical models align with tax engine logic and invoicing requirements
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of data flows, identifying and resolving data gaps while driving reporting requirements and validating system output attributes
  • Serve as a strategic business partner for new corporate initiatives, bridging communication between technical teams (engineering, data) and business stakeholders (tax, finance, operations) to influence interim solutions and drive scalable implementations
  • Strong understanding of tax compliance principles, regulations, and reporting requirements across jurisdictions
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities to identify discrepancies, data quality issues, and validate data integrity across complex system environments
  • Proven ability to partner with and influence business stakeholders on strategic programs, with strong communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Experience supporting change management for new system implementations

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
