About this Role

We are looking to recruit an ambitious Tax Director – Equity Incentives & Share Reward to join our expanding tax team.

You will play a key role in shaping and growing our share reward and equity incentives offering, working with a diverse and high-quality client base.

Working with clients ranging from entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses, high-growth companies to established corporates, you will advise on complex and commercially driven equity reward matters.

As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will have responsibility for people leadership, client development, and business growth, and will be able to influence the strategic direction of the firm’s equity incentives services.

Working closely with the Senior Management Team, Tax Partners, and Directors, you will focus on growing our client portfolio, developing our people, and expanding our equity incentives capability.

Responsibilities

Your role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Leading on the structuring and implementation of approved and unapproved share schemes, including:
    • Enterprise Management Incentives (EMI)
    • Company Share Option Plans (CSOP)
    • Growth shares and bespoke arrangements
  • Advising clients on equity tax issues in acquisitions, disposals, and reorganisations:
    • Including oversight and sign-off of share reward tax due diligence
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as a trusted adviser
  • Working with senior management to develop and grow the equity incentives service line, locally and nationally
  • Leading, coaching, and developing senior managers, managers, and trainees within the tax team
  • Taking an active role in business development, including building and retaining strong networks within the local and wider market

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
