Tax Director / Partner – Dartford, Kent
TPF Recruitment is delighted to offer a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Tax Director / Partner to join one of the most respected tax consultancy teams in Dartford, Kent.
This leadership role focuses on further developing the firm’s Kent and South East tax services, providing strategic advisory support to both corporate and private clients, particularly Owner-Managed Businesses (OMBs) and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advisory support on UK tax matters, including:
- Corporate transactions, M&A, property transactions, restructures, and demergers
- Share schemes (EIS/SEIS), R&D tax credits, patent box claims, and succession planning
- Exit strategies, corporate structuring, and tax-efficient exit planning

Deliver widespread Private Client Tax services, such as:
- Share structuring, dividend tax planning, and shareholder tax strategies
- Estate planning, trustees, IHT, CGT, and non-domicile taxation

Expand business development – Grow the firm’s tax portfolio, refine client services, and enhance the firm’s regional visibility.

Lead a highly regarded, forward-thinking tax practice with opportunities to influence client strategy and service delivery.
Requirements
- CTA/ACA Chartered qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Strong corporate and private tax expertise, with experience working across high-value transactions, succession planning, and HNWI advisory.
- Client-facing sales and relationship management skills to build long-term trust with diverse business and private clients.
- Experience managing a portfolio of accounts, demonstrating independence, thrustworthy guidance, and a keen understanding of legal implications.
- Track record in business development, creating new revenue streams through client relationships and acquisitions.
- Leadership experience at Director or Senior Manager level in a prominent accountancy/tax practice.
