Job Description

This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both taxation and immigration, working with international clients and helping employees navigate complex compliance processes in Slovakia. As each case depends on individual circumstances, you will be exposed to a variety of interesting challenges and continuously develop your professional skills in a global environment.

Tax Responsibilities

  • Preparing Slovak personal income tax returns for employees assigned to and from Slovakia.
  • Supporting the preparation of documentation related to Slovak social security and health insurance compliance.
  • Communicating with Slovak tax authorities and other relevant institutions.
  • Collaborating with colleagues from international offices to determine the correct tax position and treatment of individuals.
  • Supporting process improvements and demonstrating an interest in using technology to improve efficiency.

Immigration Responsibilities

  • Supporting clients and their employees with EU citizen registrations and third-country nationals’ residence permit applications in Slovakia.
  • Preparing documentation required for immigration applications and registrations.
  • Providing support and guidance to foreign employees during registration processes, including communication with the Foreign Police.
  • Cooperating with Foreign Police departments, labour offices, and other relevant authorities.
  • Assisting with immigration-related queries and providing guidance on Slovak immigration regulations.

Qualifications

  • Currently in the 3rd or 4th year of university studies in Economics, Law, Taxation, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Slovak language: Advanced level (C1).
  • English language: Good communication skills (B2- level).
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in interacting with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
  • Ability to communicate politely, professionally, and confidently with various stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, kind, patient, and reliable personality.
  • Detail-oriented, diligent, and comfortable working with technology and digital tools.
  • Responsible and proactive approach to work with the ability to take ownership of tasks.
  • Interest in technology and AI.
  • Strong motivation for personal development and long-term career growth.
