💷 £60,000 - £85,000 + Excellent Benefits

Ready to take the lead on complex tax investigations?

We're partnering with a growing and highly respected professional services firm that's looking for an experienced Tax Investigations Manager to join its expanding team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys solving complex problems, building trusted client relationships, and managing high-profile HMRC enquiries from start to finish.

With flexible remote working, a supportive culture, and genuine opportunities for career progression, this role offers the chance to make a real impact while working on a diverse portfolio of challenging cases.

The Opportunity

As a Tax Investigations Manager, you'll take ownership of a varied caseload of HMRC enquiries, compliance checks, and tax disputes, guiding clients through every stage of the investigation process. You'll be the trusted adviser, developing effective strategies, negotiating with HMRC, and delivering practical solutions that achieve the best possible outcomes.

You'll also play a key role in mentoring junior colleagues and helping to shape the continued success of a growing specialist team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
