Tax Investigations Manager
A leading Big Four firm looking for a Tax Investigations Manager to join a specialist disputes team with a nationwide client base and a genuinely flexible working model (1-2 days in office per week). Salary up to £65,000.

You’ll work directly with an impressive Partner supporting:
- Corporate, owner-managed businesses (OMBs)
- Private clients
- Family offices
Based nationwide, the team boasts a strong internal network of clients and referrers, giving you the opportunity to develop key business relationships while maintaining hands-on technical work.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage HMRC enquiries, tax investigations, and disclosure work
- Advise corporate, entrepreneurial, and private wealth clients on complex tax matters
- Prepare technical correspondence, reports, and settlement recommendations
- Collaborate directly with a Partner to shape client strategy
- Build relationships across the firm and drive internal referrals
- Develop a commercial pipeline in a supportive environment
Experience & Skills
We’re looking for candidates with:
- Proven experience in tax investigations, disputes, disclosures, or HMRC enquiries
- A background in accountancy, tax advisory, legal tax disputes, or HMRC
- Corporate/client experience in:
- Corporate entities
- Owner-managed businesses (OMBs)
- Private clients or wealth-related matters
- Strong written communication and confidence in dealing with HMRC at all levels
- A practical and commercial mindset, eager to evolve beyond pure delivery
