Tax Investigations Senior Manager - South West
A leading Top 15 accountancy firm is looking to appoint an experienced Tax Investigations Senior Manager to join its specialist tax team in the South West. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior tax professional with strong HMRC investigations experience to take a lead role advising a diverse portfolio of clients on complex tax matters, disputes and compliance issues.
The Role
You will play a key role in managing high-value and complex HMRC investigations, providing strategic advice to clients and working closely with partners to deliver effective outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

- Leading complex HMRC enquiries, investigations and disclosure work.
- Advising clients on tax risk, compliance and dispute resolution strategies.
- Managing relationships with HMRC and client stakeholders.
- Providing technical input across a range of tax investigation matters.
- Supporting business development and client relationship activity.
- Coaching and developing junior members of the team.
About You
- CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified (or significant relevant experience).
- Proven experience managing complex HMRC investigations and tax disputes.
- Strong technical knowledge across tax enquiry and dispute resolution matters.
- Excellent client management and communication skills.
- Commercially minded with the ability to lead engagements and support team growth.
