Tax Lawyer UCITS Funds

Aufgaben

  • As a tax specialist supporting investment professionals as well as managing tax projects (FACTA/CRS) from a legal, regulatory, operational and project management perspective for all investment classes
  • Advising specialists and managers on the development of products with regard to tax issues and comprehension of terms and conditions
  • Supporting the tax work for investment funds and the needs of investors who invest in private market funds
  • Advising on tax efficiency in financial transactions and investments
  • Monitoring in cross-border tax matters involving international fund competence centres
  • Review fund documentation relating to a variety of fund structures
  • Coordination of tax projects with external tax consultants and control of the tax performance
  • Conduct trainings in the areas of investment, law and compliance in tax matters
  • Monitoring and researching legal and regulatory requirements and cooperating with the authorities
  • Ongoing situational projects

Qualifikation

  • Master's or Bachelor's in Taxation or Law / e.g. MBA, law school, as an advantage
  • Professional experience as a tax lawyer with large investment funds, with the BigFour, in a bank or as a tax consultant or in an international law firm
  • Knowledge of investment funds and transaction regulation e.g. UCITS, UCITSD, AIFMD, MiFID as well as FATCA and CRS regulations
  • Knowledge of traditional and alternative investments as well as of private equity, private real estate, private debt and private infrastructure funds
  • Knowledge of local and crossborder fund jurisdictions
  • Ability to manage tax issues successfully
  • Analytical and communicative personality
  • High attention to detail in tax work
  • Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with ambitious deadlines
  • Team player
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • English as well as German
