Specialist Tax Manager – Guildford, Surrey
Location: Guildford, Surrey
Our client, based in Guildford, Surrey, is seeking a Tax Manager to join its specialist tax team.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, ensuring high-quality compliance and advisory services.
- Provide advice on areas including:
- Inheritance tax
- Estate planning
- Capital gains tax
- R&D tax relief
- Oversee and review:
- Tax returns
- Computations
- P11Ds
- Employment-Related Securities (ERS) filings
- ATED returns
- Manage project delivery, budgets and client expectations.
- Support business development activities, including networking and client growth initiatives.

Candidate Profile
- ATT qualified, with ideal preference for a CTA qualification.
- Approximately 4–5 years’ experience within a tax-focused role in an accountancy practice.
- Essential: Strong personal tax compliance experience.
- Advantageous: Corporate tax and advisory experience.
- Strong technical and analytical abilities, with experience using tax and accountancy software (IRIS experience beneficial).
- Proven experience managing, developing and mentoring tax professionals.
