Leeds | Hybrid Working | Up to £58,000 | Full-Time | Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Manager to join the finance team of a leading international organisation.

Reporting directly to the European Tax Director, you'll play a pivotal role in managing UK corporation tax while supporting tax matters across a wider European business. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified tax professional looking to broaden their experience across compliance, reporting, governance and strategic advisory projects within a large multinational environment.

Joining an established and supportive tax team, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, helping shape tax strategy while ensuring compliance and best practice.

The Role

As Tax Manager, you'll take ownership of UK corporation tax compliance while supporting international tax matters across Europe.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing UK corporation tax compliance, including the preparation and review of tax computations and returns.
  • Preparing quarterly tax reporting and supporting statutory tax accounting.
  • Managing tax forecasting and quarterly instalment payment calculations.
  • Coordinating international corporation tax compliance through external advisers.
  • Managing adviser relationships and ensuring all compliance deadlines are achieved.
  • Supporting and enhancing the Group's tax governance framework.
  • Leading Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) and Corporate Criminal Offence (CCO) compliance activities.
  • Providing tax support on acquisitions, restructures and wider commercial projects.
  • Monitoring legislative changes and advising stakeholders on their business impact.
  • Reviewing additional tax filings, including CIS and PSA.
  • Supporting VAT compliance and wider tax projects where required.
  • Coaching and developing a Tax Assistant.

About You

You'll be ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified (or equivalent) with strong UK corporation tax experience gained within practice or industry.

You'll also have:

  • Excellent UK corporation tax technical knowledge.
  • Experience preparing tax reporting and working with external advisers.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A commercially minded, proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong Excel and financial systems experience.

Experience of VAT, employment taxes or international tax would be advantageous but is not essential.
