Tax Manager (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £80,000 - £130,000 base (pro rata), depending on experience
Contract: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract (potential to go permanent).
A high-growth global fintech is looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join its expanding finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced international business, taking ownership of tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions while partnering with senior stakeholders on a variety of tax-related initiatives.
The Role
Reporting into the Head of Tax, you will be responsible for managing the group’s corporate tax compliance and reporting obligations across a complex international entity structure. You’ll work closely with external advisors, auditors and internal finance teams to ensure all tax requirements are delivered accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage UK and international corporate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Review and oversee work completed by external tax advisors, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of filings.
- Prepare and support tax reporting, including current and deferred tax calculations and US GAAP tax provisions.
- Partner with auditors and tax authorities on compliance matters, audits and enquiries.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess the impact on the business.
- Support international tax projects, including transfer pricing, new entity launches and process improvements.
- Drive enhancements to tax controls, governance and reporting processes as the business continues to grow.

About You
- Available to start the contract by Mid-August 2026.
- Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) and qualified tax professional (CTA).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate tax compliance, gained within practice, industry or a combination of both.
- Strong background within financial services, ideally fintech, banking or payments.
- Proven experience managing UK and US/international corporate tax compliance.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP tax accounting and corporate tax reporting.
- Confident managing external advisors and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
