Tax Manager

Are you an experienced Tax professional looking to join a growing and well-established accountancy practice? This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive team where you'll manage a varied client portfolio, deliver high-quality tax advice, and play an important role in the continued success of the business.

Working closely with senior leadership, you'll build strong client relationships, oversee a mix of compliance and advisory work, and help develop junior members of the team. The firm offers a modern, collaborative environment with genuine opportunities for progression and flexible hybrid working.

Role Overview

As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients.
  • Providing tax planning and advisory support alongside compliance services.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Reviewing work and mentoring junior members of the tax team.
  • Supporting the Partners with more complex tax matters and contributing to the growth of the department.

Requirements

You will have the following skills and experience:

  • CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified.
  • Previous experience managing a mixed tax portfolio within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or supporting junior team members.
