Role: Tax Manager

My Client, a large UK real estate business with a significant portfolio of long-term assets, is looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join its finance team on a part-time basis. The business is well-established, backed by institutional investors, and operates within a complex, dynamic environment with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation and effective stewardship.

The role involves taking ownership of the group’s tax activity across multiple entities, including:
- Managing external advisers
- Overseeing key returns
- Maintaining strong controls
- Supporting senior leadership on a range of strategic matters
You will also contribute to major upcoming projects, including a large-scale refinancing and the rollout of new ERP.

The ideal candidate will be:
- A qualified tax professional (CTA or equivalent) with solid UK tax experience, particularly across indirect taxes and complex structures
- Possess strong communication skills
- Have attention to detail
- Be able to work proactively with a variety of stakeholders
This position offers the chance to shape a broad tax function and play a key role in a forward-looking organisation.
