Job Description

The Team

KPMG's Tax practice is a dynamic and successful area of our business. A constantly changing and increasingly high-profile field, Tax can offer a broad range of quality career paths to ambitious people.

Our Tax Governance & Risk Management Team is a fast-growing part of our Tax practice with a diverse client base ranging from PE-backed, owner managed and family businesses through to UK listed and multinationals.

The Role

We are currently looking to recruit a manager to be based in Canary Wharf although we work as a wider London region team made up of 3 other offices. You will play a key role in expanding our tax governance offering, supporting existing clients, winning new work and developing new client relationships.

The successful candidate will be able to build strong relationships, develop junior staff, provide excellent client service and identify business development opportunities. At KPMG, our values define who we are and the way we do business. As a leading professional services firm, we know that our strength and capability come from our people: their different perspectives, experiences and backgrounds. From our inclusive leadership strategy to our diversity and inclusion targets – we are making bold changes to who we are and what we do. Be part of it.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
