Tax Manager | London (1 day in office) | International Group | Private Equity-Backed

Lead Global Tax. Influence Strategy. Drive International Growth.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Manager to join a fast-growing, private equity-backed international business during a pivotal stage of expansion.

Following several strategic acquisitions, the business is strengthening its global finance function and is seeking an experienced tax professional to take ownership of its international tax agenda. Working closely with the CFO and Group Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in developing the Group's tax strategy, supporting international growth and ensuring best-in-class governance across multiple jurisdictions.

Whilst this role offers some exposure to Treasury activities, the primary focus will be on international tax strategy, compliance and advisory, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to broaden their commercial influence within a dynamic global organisation.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you'll lead all aspects of the Group's tax function across a growing international business.

  • This is a highly visible role, providing expert tax advice to senior leadership, supporting strategic acquisitions and ensuring the organisation remains compliant whilst optimising its global tax position.
  • You'll work closely with Finance, Legal and external advisers, influencing business decisions and helping shape the Group's international growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

International Tax Strategy

  • Develop and implement the Group's global tax strategy across multiple international jurisdictions.
  • Provide commercially focused tax advice to senior stakeholders on strategic business initiatives.
  • Ensure the business maintains an efficient, low-risk and compliant global tax framework.
  • Monitor changes in international tax legislation, including BEPS and Pillar Two, recommending appropriate action where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
