Description
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Tax Partner to join our growing accountancy practice. This role will work closely alongside an existing Tax Partner to shape the future of the tax function, drive growth, and deliver high-quality advisory and compliance services.
The ideal candidate will bring strong SME experience, a dynamic mindset, and the ability to collaborate across service lines, particularly with audit and accounts teams.
While an existing client portfolio is not essential, the successful candidate must have a proven ability to generate opportunities, develop client relationships, and maximise value from the existing client base.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a varied portfolio of personal and corporate clients, offering strategic insight as well as technical solutions.
- Provide expert advice to clients regarding growth strategies, exit strategies (such as family succession, third party exit, and management buy outs.
- Advise clients on building corporate value, minimise risk, and profit extraction.
- Assist with restructuring, property acquisitions, and disposals. Working with client’s external advisors to deliver successful outcomes for clients.
- Help co-lead and develop the tax team, embedding a culture of growth, collaboration, and quality.
- Build the profile of our practice, contributing to business development and supporting our ambitious growth strategy.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

- CTA qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience advising SME personal and corporate clients.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and advisory issues, and how these apply to a SME client base.
- Commercially astute, with proven ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Strong leadership capability with experience developing and mentoring teams.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
