An innovative and forward-thinking firm of Accountants, focused on meeting the ever-evolving needs of modern businesses, is looking for a Tax Senior to join the team. As registered Auditors, they deliver excellent support with statutory audits as well as offering clients a full range of accountancy and tax services.
They are based in Bradford but welcome applicants from across the wider region including areas such as Wakefield, Huddersfield, Halifax, Harrogate and Shipley. This is a hybrid working role, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
Responsibilities As Tax Senior
- Prepare and submit all required tax returns for clients.
- Assist with cooperation tax compliance as workload demands.
- Prepare and submit forms P11D.
- Liaise with HMRC and clients in relation to personal tax matters.
- Maintain the electronic post management system.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Assist the Manager with the smooth running of the department.
- Supervise, review and delegate duties to junior staff as appropriate.
- Provide appropriate feedback to Manager for appraisal of staff.
- Participate in developing new business.

What We're Looking For In a Tax Senior
- ATT, CTA or ACA/ACCA qualification.
- Relevant experience of working in an Accountancy practice.
- Relevant tax experience.
- Strong UK tax technical knowledge, understanding of Corporate tax compliance, Client portfolio management and VAT.
- Experience supervising and reviewing the work of junior staff.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Software proficiency.
