Tax Senior Manager - Global Mobility Services (GMS)

Profound Client Impact & Trusted Advisor Status: As a Senior Manager, you will be the trusted advisor to multinational clients, navigating intricate international tax landscapes. Your expertise will be crucial in advising on executive assignment structuring, tax-efficient packages, and complex cross-border working scenarios, including double tax treaties and economic employer rules. You'll proactively provide insights on global mobility trends, directly influencing client strategies and ensuring their success in a globalised world. Pioneering with Innovative Technology: Leverage and drive the adoption of KPMG's cutting-edge GMS technology tools, including KPMG LINK Go, GET, GPM, and BT. You'll support specialist team and technology sales initiatives, providing technical expertise and client insights. This role places you at the forefront of integrating technology to streamline global mobility management, enhance compliance, and deliver superior client experience. Significant experience in providing expert technical advice on global mobility matters, including leading and managing teams. Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with senior executives and senior buyers of GMS services. Proven track record of contributing to business development and achieving sales targets. Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ATT, CTA).

Technical Skills:

Expertise in analysing complex residency cases, executive assignment structuring, and tax-efficient packages, with the ability to clearly advise senior executives on associated risks and changes. Ability to advise on and lead detailed HMRC disclosures (PAYE and SA). Ability to oversee complex multi-jurisdictional tax advisory projects, presenting insightful and easy-to-understand conclusions. Comprehensive knowledge of UK taxation for business travellers, non-resident directors, and remote workers, including double tax treaties, economic employer rules, 60-day rule, and payroll implications, with the ability to provide strategic solutions for cross-border working issues (e.g., dual-contracts, commuter arrangements). Good knowledge of areas such as international pensions, deferred compensation, social security/Posted Workers Directive and ability to advise clients on mobility policies in the wider market. Ability to become proficient in KPMG's GMS technology tools (KPMG LINK Go, GET, GPM, BT) and aware of social security rules and the Posted Worker Directive.
