Corporate Tax Senior Manager

About the Role

What stands you apart from the rest? Outstanding communication? Acting with purpose? Thinking outside the box and taking the team and client on the journey with you?

About the Team

We are looking for a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join our awesome tax team, with a real focus on building upon your tax knowledge and experience to help deliver a robust & tax-efficient service, aiding clients in achieving their wider objectives.

About the Day-to-Day

As a Business Tax Senior Manager, you’ll be working with Corporate Tax Partners and wider Tax teams to deliver Corporate Tax Compliance and advisory services while providing a "wow!" experience—removing jargon and ensuring a stellar first-rate service. You’ll engage in a diverse range of tasks, including:

  • Managing a portfolio of complex business tax clients, including reviewing tax returns, computations, and tax accounting disclosures
  • Signing off tax returns for complex clients, working independently from directors or partners
  • Pillar 2 compliance and advisory services
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for all tax matters
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on corporate tax planning, restructuring, and compliance
  • Assisting with tax investigations and disputes, liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
  • Collaborating closely with other firm departments (e.g., audit and advisory) to deliver seamless client service
  • Supporting business development, including cross-selling services to existing clients and generating new leads

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
