Corporate Tax Senior Manager

About the Team
We’re looking for a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join our awareness-based tax team, with a focus on expanding tax knowledge and experience to deliver robust and tax-efficient compliance, helping clients achieve their broader goals.
About the Day-to-Day
As a Business Tax Senior Manager, your role will include:
- Managing a portfolio of complex business tax clients, covering tasks such as:
- Reviewing tax returns, computations, and tax accounting disclosures
- Signing off returns for complex clients independently (under supervision where necessary)
- Pillar 2 compliance and advisory support
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as their primary point of contact for all tax matters.
- Providing expert strategic advice on corporate tax planning, restructuring, compliance, and tax efficiency strategies.
- Participating in HMRC liaisons for client investigations and disputes.
- Collaborating with other departments (e.g. audit, advisory) to offer seamless end-to-end service.
- Supporting business development, including identifying cross-sell opportunities and generating new client leads.
- Contributing to improvements in the firm’s working practices via engagement with the Manager Group.
- Potential line management for team members, with focused mentorship for junior colleagues.

As a Corporate Tax Senior Manager, you should:
- Have extensive experience in delivering complex tax compliance and ad hoc advisory services.
- Work closely with Tax Partners on varied projects (not restricted to a single tax type).
- Demonstrate a deep passion for both tax and your clients.
- Become a trusted advisor who:
- Thinks holistically about tax implications for client strategy.
- Communicates clearly, without jargon, to build trust.
- Manages a diverse client base, including large corporate groups, international firms, and private equity-backed organisations.
