We’re looking for a tax professional who thrives on growing their expertise and delivering a robust, tax-efficient service that helps clients achieve their broader business goals.
About the Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Business Tax Senior Manager, you’ll work alongside Corporate Tax Partners and the wider Tax team to deliver compliance and advisory services—all while ensuring a "wow!" experience by simplifying jargon and raising the service bar to first-rate excellence.
You’ll take on a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
- Managing a portfolio of complex business tax clients within a specific specialism, including:
- Reviewing tax returns, computations, and disclosures
- Signing off tax returns for complex clients on behalf of directors or partners, independently
- Driving Pillar 2 compliance and advisory services
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, serving as their primary tax contact while resolving queries or concerns collaboratively
- Providing expert advice on business tax matters such as:
- Corporate tax planning and restructuring
- Compliance responsibilities
- Assisting with tax investigations and disputes, including liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
- Collaborating across the firm to ensure seamless client service, working closely with:
- Audit and advisory teams
- Contributing to business development, identifying opportunities to:
- Cross-sell services to existing clients
- Generate new business leads
- Shaping how the team operates, alongside peers in the manager group, to refine processes and improve service delivery

About You

As a Corporate Tax Senior Manager, you should:
- Have extensive experience in delivering robust tax compliance services and ad hoc advisory work
- Show confidence and client-centric leadership across a range of corporate tax issues
- Be a wider-tax mindset advisor, ensuring clients receive the support they need
- Excel in communication and relationship-building—both internally with colleagues and externally with clients
- Have hands-on experience managing various clients, including:
- Large corporate groups
- Internationally owned businesses
- Private equity-backed companies
- Be passionate about clients’ businesses, with a talent for demystifying complex tax matters
- Demonstrate a strong team focus, with particular interest in engaging and growing colleagues
