Our client is one of Munster’s largest non Big 4 accountancy firms. Their business ethos is focussed on providing each client with a high-grade all-round service. In addition to the traditional accounting and audit assignments, they provide Tax and Business consulting solutions. Their client base includes high profile indigenous companies and high net worth clients. Over the next 12 months, they are forecasting substantial growth in their tax division. As part of their development, they are hiring a Taxation Senior.

- Managing tax consultancy and advisory assignments
- Overseeing compliance across all tax headings
- Providing internal “update briefings” to professional staff across the firm
- Dealing with tax queries from audit and accounting staff and senior management/partners
- Review of client files to identify taxation issues and opportunities
- Meeting fee targets
- Assisting with developing firm’s image by the publishing of technical articles on Tax issues for internal and external publications
Candidate Requirements
The candidate should have trained within the tax division of a Big 4 or a quality medium firm. The role could suit a Tax Senior who feels that they want to handle tax assignments across all tax headings. The role offers variety with lots of client contact and responsibility.
