🔍 The Role
We’re seeking a p occasative taxation solicitor with expertise in complex taxation law to act as a Partner, leading business growth and client relationships.
Ideal for: Experienced solicitors wanting full control over their caseload, fee arrangements, and professional trajectory.
📌 Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-calibre taxation legal advice to diverse clients, including:
- Tax efficiency planning
- Disputes/resolutions with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC)
- Corporate restructuring with tax implications
- Actively develop and grow a private client following through:
- Existing network expansions
- Proactive business development efforts
- Negotiate and draft complex tax agreements/commercial contracts
- Represent clients in tax tribunals or HMRC litigation (where applicable)
- Comply with all legal ethics, disclosure, and safeguarding obligations
- Arc Lösung’s annual strategy review of client intake vs. financial calendar performance

🎯 The Ideal Candidate
You’re a commercial taxation lawyer with:
- 4+ years’ qualified practice experience (PQE) specialising in taxation law
- Strong technical expertise in drafting and contentious/non-contentious taxation drafting
- Proven advocacy skills (including liaising with HMRC or tribunal proceedings if relevant)
- Commercial acumen matching legal insight with client-centric outcomes
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial mindset eager to build a diverse client portfolio
- Experience generating work via:
- Direct outreach, networking
- Referral partnerships
- Personal propositions
- Self-motivation in a dynamic, remote-first environment
