Job Description:

Team:

  • Participate fully as a member of the team
  • Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation, and teamwork
  • Ensure the timely communication of issues/points of interest
  • Ensure a timely communication of issues that are relevant to the team
  • Encourage a good working relationship with other departments
  • Contribute to the success of the team by willingly assisting others in the completion and performance of work activities; provide training, coaching, and/or guidance as appropriate
  • Contribute to a fair, positive, and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce

Customer:

  • Execute more complex transactions and overrides accurately, on time, and in line with established guidelines/procedures while adhering to formal or informal Service Level Agreement(s) (SLAs)
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery
  • Maintain working relationships with customers by resolving customer issues and articulating business processes to respond to customer queries
  • Refer or escalate processing or operational issues as needed based on a solid understanding of the issue, connecting with the appropriate function/partner to facilitate resolution and ensure that service quality is maintained

Shareholder:

  • Support the timely and accurate completion of business processes
  • Actively review internal processes/activities and provide ideas for process improvement
  • Investigate and escalate non-standard or high-risk activities as appropriate
  • Prioritize and manage own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity

Role:

  • Perform daily post-settlement control activities across multiple asset classes, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of operational processes.
  • Complete cash and depot reconciliations, investigating and resolving breaks and exceptions within established timelines.
  • Monitor and manage post-settlement exceptions, identifying root causes, and escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Liaise with internal trading, risk, finance, technology, and external counterparties/custodians to resolve reconciliation discrepancies and settlement-related issues.
  • Ensure adherence to operational controls, risk management procedures, and regulatory requirements relating to post-trade and post-settlement processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to automate and enhance reconciliation, exception management, and escalation processes.
