About the Role

Are you a qualified teacher who enjoys helping children reach their full potential? Would you like a rewarding teaching role where you can make a genuine difference to children in the local community?

We're seeking an After School Teacher to join Westway Trust on a one-year fixed-term contract (with the possibility of extension). You will teach children across the:

Teaching is primarily one-to-one, with occasional small group sessions, allowing you to provide personalised support tailored to each child’s needs.

Working hours: 6 hours weekly during term time (39 weeks/year):

  • 4 hours teaching
  • 2 hours lesson prep, outreach, and safeguarding documentation
  • Supportive, flexible and impactful opportunities for teachers seeking term-time flexibility.

This role is perfect for a passionate After School Teacher who wants to inspire young learners while shaping their future.

Key Responsibilities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
