Teacher (Brede Primary School)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher to join the friendly team at Brede Primary School and cover maternity leave from January 2027.

  • Working Pattern: Full-time
  • Hours of Work: Full-time teachers hours
  • Pay Scale: ECT/MPS is preferred
  • Closing Date: 12:00 pm, Wednesday 23 September 2026
  • Start Date: January 2027
  • Location: Base in a Year 3/4 class
  • Suitable for: Early Career Teachers (ECTs)

The Successful Candidate is expected to:

  • Have sufficient experience teaching Key Stage 2.
  • Possess a hardworking, conscientious demeanour, with enjoyment derived from school life, enthusiasm, resilience, and a good sense of humour.
  • Exhibit excellent subject knowledge and an understanding of the curriculum.
  • Take a creative, reflective approach to teaching that motivates, challenges, and supports every child.
  • Be adaptable in learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including pupils with additional needs.
  • Demonstrate a nurturing, emotionally intelligent approach to children’s social and emotional wellbeing.
  • Build strong relationships with children, colleagues, and families.
  • Exhibit a kind, patient, intuitive, and positive approach to teaching and learning.
  • Commit to professional development.

Requirements and Further Information
