Teacher of Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Based in Mansfield

Remuneration: GBP32,916 - GBP45,352 (M1 - M6 Pay Scale)

Status: Full-Time, Permanent (Term Time Only)

The Mission

Do you believe that education should adapt to the student, rather than the student to the system? We are looking for a visionary SEN Teacher to join our Mansfield team. This is a role for a teacher who wants to move away from rigid, one-size-fits-all schooling and toward a relationship-based, multi-sensory approach that truly transforms lives.

Working primarily with KS3 and KS4 learners who have diagnoses of ASC, SEMH, and varied cognition/learning needs, you will be the catalyst for their academic and emotional breakthroughs.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Creative Delivery: You will lead small-group sessions, turning the curriculum into a flexible, engaging, and accessible journey for students aged 7 to 19.
  • Holistic Growth: Your success isn't just measured in grades, but in the confidence, resilience, and emotional regulation of your learners.
  • Strategic Planning: You'll design bespoke learning programmes and schemes of work that align with individual EHCPs, ensuring no child is left behind.
  • Collaboration: Working alongside a dedicated support team, you will contribute to curriculum innovation and provide detailed progress tracking to help shape the future of our provision.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
