Job Title

We are looking for a Teacher in A Level Psychology or for our A-Levels department Psychology Teaching. We are looking for someone who is motivated, inspiring, and has an innovative approach to teaching and learning. Are you someone with an in-depth knowledge of academic provision? About the Role

You will lead a very strong team of professional teachers within the A Level department, in the sixth form centre.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that support the quality improvement of your area
  • Inspire members of your team to deliver appropriate and engaging curricula ensuring the sharing of good practice wherever possible
  • Develop links with institutions, employers, and professionals with the focus of participating in new initiatives, increasing skills development, and work experience opportunities for all learners in the department

Requirements

  • Enthusiasm, resilience, and a highly motivated approach to Psychology with recent experience of teaching and leading on Psychology with outstanding achievement and high-grade outcomes
  • Detailed knowledge of A-level Psychology provision
  • A relevant degree or equivalent
  • A teaching qualification
  • Experience of internal moderation and rigorous standardisation of academic programmes/provision
