We are looking for a Computer Science Teacher to join our teaching team at the International Study Centre, University of Exeter, on a zero-hours basis.

This is a flexible teaching opportunity for an experienced educator who enjoys working with international students and supporting them to succeed in higher education pathways. You will teach Computer Science across a range of programmes, including lectures, seminars and tutorials, delivered face to face at the Centre.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, adapting materials where needed to suit different learning needs, and supporting students from a wide range of cultural and academic backgrounds. A key part of the role is ensuring students are progressing well, receiving clear feedback, and developing the academic skills required for university study.

You will assess student work in line with programme requirements, maintain accurate records of progress and attendance, and contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment. The role may also involve liaising with colleagues across academic and support teams, and taking part in wider centre activities when required.

We are looking for someone who can bring subject expertise in Computer Science together with a practical, student-focused teaching approach. Experience teaching international students is an advantage, as is the ability to adapt quickly to different class sizes, levels, and programme demands.
