The Learning Mate
The Learning Mate is an AI-powered EdTech platform helping teachers and schools save time, improve productivity, and deliver better learning experiences. We help educators automate repetitive tasks, provide actionable feedback, and track student progress more effectively.
About the Role
We're looking for experienced teachers who are passionate about improving education beyond the traditional classroom.
As a Teacher Innovation Advisor, you'll be the voice of teachers within our team. You'll evaluate new ideas, review platform experiences, and help ensure everything we build is practical, intuitive, and genuinely valuable for teachers, students, school leaders, and parents. From assessment outputs and learning insights to parent reports, analytics, and future product concepts, your expertise will help shape the direction of The Learning Mate.
This is an opportunity to influence the future of education while working alongside a team building innovative tools for teachers.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Represent the voice of teachers throughout the evolution of The Learning Mate.
- Review and evaluate product features ensuring they meet real classroom needs.
- Ensure that the AI-generated results are always meeting the highest standards across different subjects & languages, in terms of accuracy, consistency and impact.
- Provide practical recommendations to improve classroom workflows, usability, and the overall teacher experience.
- Identify opportunities for new features and product enhancements based on classroom challenges and emerging educational needs.
- Ensure that new features are always meaningful, actionable, and easy to understand for teachers, students and parents.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and technology teams to translate classroom insights into impactful product improvements.

We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has classroom teaching experience and a deep understanding & empathy of the day-to-day of teachers.
- Is passionate about improving teaching and learning through technology.
- Enjoys evaluating ideas, solving problems, and thinking critically about how products can better support teachers and students.
- Can provide thoughtful, constructive feedback and communicate ideas clearly.
- Has excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of effective teaching and learning practices.
- Is curious, collaborative, and excited to help shape the future of education.
