About the Role
- Position: Teacher of Chemistry / Science Teacher – fueling the next generation’s passion for STEM
- Teaching Team: Collaborate with energetic and expert Science Teachers in a forward-thinking Science Department
- Leadership Opportunities: Experienced candidates may be offered TLR roles such as KS3 Coordinator or Pastoral Responsibility, culminating in broader leadership pathways

- Start Date & Level: Full-Time/Permanent position, reviewed through MPS1-UPS3 pay scale (£39,571 - £59,135 + TLR, dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver stimulating STEM lessons, using progressive teaching methodologies across Key Stages 2, 3 & 4
- Progress pupils academically via measurable outcomes and enhance engagement in gruelling subjects
- Maintain Safeguarding awareness and adhere to the school’s behaviours policy
- Advise colleagues on best practice observation notes & feedback and stay abreast of innovative subject resources
- Contribute to supporting your school community through extracurricular opportunities and teamwork

Person Spec:
- Qualifications:
- UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)already obtained or underway
- Evidence of thriving academic career averaged in degree, A-Levels, and GCSEs
- Spin 6 fish – Must align fully with the 8 Standards of Teaching Quality (Ofsted ‘Good to Outstanding’ by GCSEs and A-Levels benchmark)
Professional Attributes:
- Must be team spirited with ability to listen to feedback and reflect confidently
- Confident in developing curriculums matching Dynamic Learning goals with strong subject knowledge in Chemistry and General Science Education
Compensation & Location
- Salary: £39,571 at scale MPS1 progressing up to MPS3 at £59,135 with potential TLR top-up
- Location: Metal errors静校 in Merton with premium facilities
