- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
- Enhanced DBS: A valid Enhanced DBS clearance registered on the Update Service (or a willingness for one).
- Subject Knowledge: A strong academic background or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related digital discipline.
- Eligibility to Work: Valid legal entitlement to work full-time in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Design and deliver innovative, high-quality Computer Science, ICT, and Creative iMedia lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Student Progression: Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, using data to implement targeted interventions that ensure strong academic outcomes.
- Inclusive Teaching: Adapt teaching strategies to support a highly diverse student demographic, including English as an Additional Language (EAL) and SEND learners.
- Digital Environment Management: Maintain a safe, engaging, and highly effective digital learning environment within the computing suites.
- Collaboration: Actively collaborate within the Computing and Business department to share best practices and resources.
- Pastoral Duties: Act as a dedicated Form Tutor, supporting the holistic personal development, well-being, and attendance of a assigned group of students.
- Extra-Curricular Engagement: Contribute to the wider school community by running digital extra-curricular clubs, such as coding or gaming networks.
- Safeguarding: Strictly uphold and promote the academy's rigorous safeguarding and child protection policies to ensure a safe learning space.
- Parental Engagement: Maintain positive, clear communication channels with parents and guardians regarding student effort, behaviour, and achievements.
